If you are a PhpGedView user you will know that it comes with a standard set of themes. But you may not be aware that many users have created their own themes, either from scratch or by adaptation of one from the standard set.

This site has been created to encourage more people to develop themes; to share those already designed, and discuss any issues related to PGV themes. The site is separate but complementary to PGV's own home site (click here) and the SourceForge forums (click here).

Public visitors to this site can view screen shots of the themes at GALLERY; view full demonstrations of PGV and any of the themes on this site at DEMO; and read the discussions about all aspects of the PGV themes in FORUM.

If you care to register with us, then you can also download the latest themes (all entirely free); upload your own themes in FILES; contribute to any of the forum discussions; and add to our valuable store of FAQs.

The FAQ pages contain advice on how to use this site, and information about creating and using PGV themes.

JustBlack Theme PDF Print E-mail

 JustBlack is a great new theme created by JustCarmen with a custom header and a stylish color scheme. You can view JustBlack in action on Carmen's site or click "Read More" below to see what Carmen had to say.

Carmen says:
"I made this theme for my own family history site. It is a very stylish theme and because of the dark background easy to look at.

Most of the images however are based on the Xenea theme and just modified by me to fit in the JustBlack theme.
The theme is also suitable for use with the Google map module and the Research Assistant module.

I made some extra icons and adjustments in the menu. These adjustments are made inside the code and are not included in this package. But if you want to know how to adjust the code to make these icons viewable, just send me an email and I will explain it to you.
